Dawn Of Apocalypse – Forces Of Darkness Reigns
Dawn of Apocalypse is a Swedish Black/ Thrash Metal band formed in 2014, one of the many projects of Satanic Tony, owner of Salute Records and a true enthusiast and support of the underground scene around the world. After a Demo, the band has released the EP “Forces Of Darkness Reigns”, which I’ll share my thoughts on this review.
As I always point out, as this is an EP, the “review” might be a bit short, but this doesn’t mean that I didn’t care or listen the album enough times. I actually heard it quite a few times, as, and I’m already giving my “judgment” here, I freaking loved it.
The music is some sort of insane old-school Black Metal with some Thrash influences, sounding very weird, but weird in a good way, not like some bands that add elements to make the music “avant-garde” and end up having some completely boring and sterile. But here is different, I say weird as in chaotic and brutal. It’s great, raw, lo-fi, brutal and evil. Intended only for those that enjoy music at the roughest and uncompromised form.
If you enjoy Dawn Of Apocalypse, please, support the band and its label by doing what is possible for you. If you can purchase a release, amazing, but if you can’t, you can always find other ways to help the band and keep it alive.
Take care.
